Something is definitely wrong with it then.

Re: Bye Bike in USA

Hey bro, I have a 2016 Bye Bike and it takes off like a snail but it tops out at 40mph. It just needs a bigger toothed rear sprocket or a smaller front ssf sprocket for more off the line torque. But I still like this bike alot.

I would try adding a pipe and maybe an upjet. Do these use phva carbs?

Re: Bye Bike in USA

Why do you think something is wrong? It does 40mph.

Re: Bye Bike in USA

This bike has a slow take off......

Real slow but I still like it alot.

Re: Bye Bike in USA

maybe your variator is jammed. i mean its not gonna take off like a crotch rocket but it should jam on just about any other stock moped you've ever ridden.

Re: Bye Bike in USA

srsly, if take-off sucks, tune your clutch and vatriator! don't regear it, it's got a variator. use the variator and rip dicks all day start to finish

Re: Bye Bike in USA

Josiah Radebaugh /

Nice and light weights. Or stiffer spring. Possibly a combo

Thanks for the advice bro Check out my first review of my Bye bike.

Re: Bye Bike in USA

I liked your review! Take it and get Pete to help you tune the variator!

Re: Bye Bike in USA

Yea some clutch springs, drop some weight in the variator, any pipe, 50mph and you will be wheeling.

Re: Bye Bike in USA

Darren Jackson /

HELLO and can you tell me how I can purchase those racks and how I can purchase a new front sprocket for my bike. I need to gear down due to the lack of torque.

Re: Bye Bike in USA

Sprocket will help a little bit, but not much. On a cvt transmission a few hundred rpms to get into the power earlier is more effective than one less tooth on a sprocket.
