Oo lovely. I might have the hobbit treats pipe available to hack weld onto a derbi. Seems like could be same same.

Multi-point side bleed routed through a rear silencer.

Seams like a Crazy Wayne "improvement."

I built this pipe with a cool heat guard and a sick heated arm rest a few years back

Re: Pipe addiction

An easier hack weld cause already made for the bike but new header to fit the cylinder. First time and just happy it worked.

All these pipes and no slippy pipes. Nobody has done it?

Metrakit blue baffle on a hobbit. Hacked and welded by EPep at the lancaster shop for my hobbit. This actually took a lot less work than originally thought. Evan killed it on the placement and clearances.

Do pedals clear on that hobbit with the metrakit?

Re: Pipe addiction

They did not fit. I can't remember if it was close enough to just extend the pedals. I'll try to check if I'm at the shop and remember. But probably not, that pipe is a leg burner for sure and very in the way at times. (edited)

You can see the pipe goes right over the pedal shaft hole, so my guess is no.

Re: Pipe addiction

I haven't welded in years and it's a new to me machine, probably should have set up better but full steam ahead anyways.

Re: Pipe addiction

This is a pipe I made from the proma warrior dimensions in the puch wiki. I used it on a polini minarelli and it rips pretty good. I made a nice heavy silencer that is repackable and is very quit.

Re: Pipe addiction

Here is another one I made 10 plus years ago. It is made from a solid piece of pipe then wedges cut out and hammered and welded. It is a proma gp copy. Worked real well on a stock v1. I sold it to someone on here 9 years ago. It was a super heavy duty pipe and very quiet. Made from like 16gauge exhaust pipe.

edit: I see whats going on now lol nevermind. Still v cool (edited)

Re: Pipe addiction

My doppler spec pipe from the dimensions on the jake Cain most expensive pipe thread. The bend at the header is a little tight but the bike still rips.

Re: Pipe addiction

@ Joel P : Yea, I got a prototype SSS Polini with slip spring header and no muffler and then used an old Leo Vince ZX for parts. Good eye for catching the pipe shape, that's an obscure one. Those dudes are friends of mine and are down the street from my house. Great guys. The pedal in the way was me making sure I could pedal. I hope the pipe works with the motor setup, but either way it looks good.

Re: Pipe addiction

I’ve made some first one I did was 2 stock puch pipes cut and welded the cones together

Re: Pipe addiction

YZ85 as top mount on an A35 powered GT BMX bike. Replaced the stock large ~19mm stinger with 16mm ID. Short header, crazy top end. Pipe hits around 6k rpms and pulls hard to ~11k. Also modded up a smaller RM80 that had better mid range but wouldn't rev as far and noticeably less top end.

whoa i love the stylin' on that dude on the motron, even if the header is way long

Re: Pipe addiction

Dylan do you have any pipes I can buy that could be modified to fit a jawa?

I want a wider header pipe than stock such as a morini or puch header with a performance exhaust on it.

My first hack n weld Tecno circuit on a Derbi flatreed

Waiting on a piece of flat bar so I can weld up the rear mount to the plastics mount
