I'm sure you reported the theft to police, right? I sure hope you get it back unhurt. Dirty rotten thieves make it bad for everyone.

It’s a Motobecane. He couldn’t have gotten far.

I'd be surprised if the even figured out how to start it, I'd wager they peddaled it or walked it away.

Re: Stolen motobecane 7 San Diego

You should call that detective agency in San Diego from the early 80's, Simon and Simon.

Sorry about the bike

yeah, thankfully it was registered. the vin is 07162627 if anyone needs it.

unfortunately for me this moby was reliable as shit. it went on a 25 or so mile ride with a group of tomos and the likes. It and a couple others were the only happy running bikes by the end.

The bell had shaved and reriveted clutch pads on it. too much damn work went into the thing for some shithead to just come along and take it.

Re: Stolen motobecane 7 San Diego

Check impound lots, town yards, sometimes they will ditch the plate, and it will get picked up, or maybe someone got stopped on it and it was towed, you filed a police report right?

Also, consider Posing a WTB ad on Craigslist and Marketplace. If they want some money, they might try to sell it. That's when you take it for a test ride back to your house
