You really have to look these days, the Red one I posted I bought from a motorcycle shop, it had been abandoned there after they refused to work on it, it was out with the scrap metal! :( $50.00 and mine. The beautiful detail job and painting of the leg shields was done by Sunday morning motors, I just rode it. :) Sadly I have sold the machine, as it had become to heavy/unstable for me to carry up the stairs to my apt for winter storage. :/ I only have one Motobecane left, she's pretty sweet too! The French make some weird stuff, but damn it's beautiful!

"TI FA SORRIDERE" in English means "Makes you smile."

My 1976 Cimatti City Bike does this.

Nice to see people smile, especially when I pedal backwards.

Smiles seem to be in short supply nowadays.

I do like the old moby's! I also like the kriedlers. I got a soft spot for the chrome tanks bikes.

Always surprised this is not a more common sentiment. I share it with ya slewfoot.

The top tanks always just look to me like "hmmm....dude is too young, or too poor to afford, a motorcycle"

Not so much a judgement. Just a reflex. Young and/or poor is cool. I've been both, and both at once.

But a moped's a moped. A motorcycle's a motorcycle. I own a few of both. The blurred boundry does nothing for me.

Re: Best Looking Stock Moped, put in your 2 cents

The first motorcycles were top tanks and were mopeds. Top tanks are the best. The step-thru is a girly bike.LOL!

I kind of feel sorry for people who have never experienced a high powered kitted ZA50 Puch magnum, A bike that runs with and can beat some 60-100cc motorcycles,

There are people who love magnums, there are people who are jealous of the ones who have magnums, there of people who don’t like them because they never rode one that was kitted and or built correctly,

A Puch magnum is a moped that is also a motorcycle if you build it correctly, leaving it just as a stock Moped does not do it justice whatsoever,

A few days ago I beat a huge Harley off the line at take off for a about 1/2 of a football field (I did pedal 3 turns at takeoff haha), at the second stop sign the biker pulled right alongside of me said what heck did you do to that puch Moped! for he had A silver magnum in the early 80s and he couldn’t get it to go over 30 mph, I said not much really! And that’s true you don’t have to do much because they were engineered to hold 10-12 HP like nothin!
