They must have different kick lever. If I put mine backward like that the foot part folds wrong.
The front bracket is pinched to the frame and tightened to not move. The tank rests on the frame, the front bracket stabilizes it from shifting to the sides only. It is no different from what was originally on the frame. All of the bolts/nuts for the brackets have red thread lock on them to prevent anything from backing out. The rear tab on the tank is attached to the frame along with the seat...or will be once I get the seat.
For now I am just about finished with the tank. Just some clear coats and it's all set. It turned out pretty good for just some rattle can and masking tape.
