Ohh dude please keep the pink. Super awesome...
The main weak link for Sachs is the badly designed clutch. Well actually, it's great when stock! But your not going to make a 50mph blaster like a Puch and have a reliable bike. Unlike most mopeds, the Sachs uses clutch disks like a motorcycle combined with a weird donut shaped spring the compressed the disks... So you tune it to blast and the clutches immediately glaze over...then teardown and repeat...
But, a reliably Dailey driver 40-45mph bike is totally doable as long as you don't go crazy with it.
The major retailers are treatland.tv, and doscycles.com. both will have all the rebuild parts. Imma try to lay out some parts for a good mild Sachs build...but everybody does it in their own way..
Here's a link to a complete rebuild pack with the 'd' stroked crank. Paired with a d jug and Piston and you'll be on your way. Your bike has a 10mm intake and carb. Very restrictive. So you'll need a 15mm carb like a bing 15, 14 or 15mm intake manifold...an expansion chamber exhaust is going to be a good idea as well..like a resonant supercharger for a two stroke.
