What are ya'll opinions on getting a frame and wheels professionally prepped & painted vs the old fashion rattle can and 4k clear.

Professionally: $200-$450

Rattle can and clear: $50 or less

Yes, the prep works is the hardest thing and what you pay for to have it professionally done and done correctly. Is it worth the extra couple hundred bucks as far a longevity of the paint, hardness, and overall looks. What type of results have everyone been getting?

Also, if anyone could correct or critique the below steps

Prep steps for DIY:

Clean and degrease

sand 320grit all areas

re-clean

alcohol clean

primer

base (2coats)

4k Clear or clear of choice (3coats)

Let cure for 3 days aproximate
