I got a Motobecane 50V and the bike has been rattled canned with black over the factory Motobecane electric blue. I would love to reveal the factory color, but i heard acetone will work, others say its to aggresive, any ideas?

Try acetone on a small area.
Totally weird, im standing in Home Depot in the paint department looking at an empty shelf of acetone. There is literally zero acetone on the shelf. Looks like someone is hoarding it all. Would paint thinner, or laquer thinner work the same?
That’s funny
I have them all
The only thing that worked for me was acetone.
Try Lowe’s.
I used Goof Off Graffiti remover with good results.
Spray some carb cleaner on a towel, I took black paint off a vespa it did not harm the factory paint, you have to move fast because the carb cleaner dries fast
Brake cleaner? It will be ok on any rubber buts too. Or petrol on a rag.
For a whole frame? The brain cells that survived would be high AF.
Acetone didnt really do shit, it only works when most of the spray paint is off, then it cuts through, i'll try goof off, if that dont get the top layer off then Jascos paint stripper it is

Make sure it’s the graffiti remover, not the latex remover.

And you still have a robin, haha
Out of all the undesirables I'd happily take a robin. (edited)
Never tried the graffiti remover.
Just acetone and lots of rubbing.
