Sounds like a proper job.
I did a case match at this point on my last engine. Felt like it made that much easier and I had the piece of mind knowing no contamination got into the bottom end.
Put in studs and and bolt case together with a piece of paper between halves. Put gasket and cylinder on. Mark paper gasket for perfect match to transfers. Cut gasket. Put them back on, center it all up, mark case. Take that all apart and open case transfers. You won’t get into the case bolt holes or anything on accident.
It was a first for me, I really liked it.
