Let's do a Tri-Ped Microcar head count and see how many of these trikes are still on the road or in various states of misrepair.
Here's my 1977 #0291 work in progress currently troubleshooting a weak spark issue.
This is the same style as my first one, is the VIN on the driver side of the headstock?
It might be better to have a page on the wiki, like the magnum LTD one
The cranks have one, I don't have any pics or info on it... I rebuilt the v1 a couple years ago. Think it has a polini kit now?
Congrats, you built a horseless carriage. I think Mercedes beat you to it.
I have one that my kids and I ride, late model, with the huge plastic tank. I fixed up an earlier one for my uncle, he has that in Kansas City, MO. Traded another earlier one to Blake/Dos Cycles, that one may not be up and running, but I am sure it will be eventually.

Post up pic, year, VIN.
Check Declan’s profile for a wonderful family MicroCar pic !
And we always wear helmets when riding, that was just for a photo
I was HOPING to pick one up several weeks ago near Harrisburg, but I couldn't borrow anyone's pickup truck. A guy about 2 miles away in Middlefield has one.

We've got 3 of them in central Ohio. Get one and we'll have to get an Ohio tri-ped ride together
I keep threatening to put the Pryer rear end on one of my Motrons. Would a trike count for a tri-ped ride?
I wouldn't let a lack of truck keep me from a tri-ped, I have strapped mine to the top of my Subaru Outback in a pinch

I'm not opposed to a 3 wheeled ride, I know the Cleveland dudes have 2 tomos trikes too.

I'd love to see a picture of that! (edited)

That is my plan for my tomos rear. Going on my motron
HOw many were total made? What years? All are pre '81 due to lack of 17 digit VIN's I take it. Also I see four and five digit serials; anyone care to explain that? (edited)

I don't think that VIN is correct. Mine is in the 0600's and it's the successor to your model. I don't think they made over 1500 of them
A tri-ped smash-up derby would be cool

I think you are right, I will check.
My bad, the number was 347, not sure where I grabbed that extra 6.
A FB group may be a way to reach more Tri-Ped Microcar owners, build a connection between Triped owners who are not otherwise into mopeds.
I went ahead and started one.

There already is one, https://www.facebook.com/groups/842731569457968
I guess I will delete that, I had searched and never found one.

Nice! I see the boxy rear fenders, is that a Tomos powetrain?
V1, polini, running 14.12 and pancake exhaust. Have a bigger carb and pipe going on sometime soon.
