Can’t figure out where these 2 wires go to or if they are supposed to be hooked up to anything? Just bought this moped in non running condition. Owner said it worked great and stopped working randomly. There isn’t any spark so I’m wondering if one of these wires could be the issue. Thanks
They have ring terminals on them so they were probably grounded. I believe the the green/black gets grounded and the green goes to the brake light switches. For testing ground both and see if you have spark. Then you can go back and fix the brake light wiring.
None of those are original connections
What model bike do you have and what ignition do you have ?
It’s a stock coil on an e50
Green/ black is a ground. Green is the power off the stator for your brake lights.

Yeah you got butchered wiring, you’re not using the wiring buss/block thats something like this:
So you have to go off Stator coil wire colors before the butchered wires were crimped on,
This will tell you colors of stator wires if 6 wire Stator and where they go somewhat close to your bike but your bike has no wiring harness so you’re gonna have to do one wire at a time :

Any wire with a stripe is a ground. Blue wire from points goes to high tension coil. Yellow wire is lights, green wire is brake light.
