Tomos revival

Snagged this for $100, it's a 2003. Most likely just gonna swap the engine and other parts over to a tomos targa lx. Only thing is.. I dont have the key.. can I bypass the key and just use a kill switch? What wires do I need to splice to bypass the key ?

Re: Tomos revival

Looks like if you just disconnect the black wire going to the plug that plugs into the ignition switch you're good. Make sure you disconnect it after the stator junction, don't just unplug the stator from the CDI box

Why swap, just fix it up, a tube frame Revival is much better then a LX

I’ll look at my revival Service manual and post a picture of the circuit

Get access to underneath the seat to pop the faux gas tank storage then unscrew battery/wiring compartment

Then you have access to the ignition switch

This diagram just like the one posted above is not specifically for your older a35 Revival model but will be close

Re: Tomos revival

Re: Tomos revival

Thank you for the help! I really appreciate it!

Re: Tomos revival

Mine has to have the headlight switch on as well. I forget what years had this feature. Drove me mad till I figured it out, and I had an ignition key.

Re: Tomos revival

I definetly wana do a battery delete but I guess I would have to rewire the lights because I have no key ?
