What size is this clone carb without numbers

My Dellorto clone on my 99 Tomos A 35 has no number anywhere on it so I don't know what size Carb it is.. The intake manifold in the first picture is 14 MM inside . The intake at the back of the carb at the choke is also 14 MM so I am surmising that it is a 14-14. There also is no number on the orifice but the hole in it looks very large. I think I have way to much gas going into the engine because it won't rev. very high , Has no power and goes into 4 cycle immediately when I open the throttle. I want to install a genuine Dellorto but think I should go stock with a 14-12 as the motor is completely stock with only a Biturbo exhaust and a unrestricted air filter.

what is your advice.

A 14.14 is fine, but you could also measure the carb to determine it's size instead of asking folks to guess based on photos.

Re: What size is this clone carb without numbers

I did measure it as stated in the post It is 14 mm at the intake and 14 mm at the carb air intake as shown in the picture . That is why I am asking . Is this the way the size is determined? It may be easy for someone who is familiar with with all these things but I am not and I thought that this is the reason for this forum But if I keep getting smacked down every time I ask a question I will just quit the forum .

I mean, to be fair you asked what size it was after you measured the size and provided it. If you don't see any humor in that then you're a goober

You measure at the Venturi.

You didn't manage to ask if you measured correctly, just stated your measurements.

Can't blame responders for not comprehending your intent through a text post.

Re: What size is this clone carb without numbers

You're issue isn't with the size of the carb if it's getting too much gas, you should probably get a range of lower jet sizes, like low 60s to high 50s, and swap them in and out till you get what you like. It doesn't sound like an issue with the Clone, but SHA clones generally suck, so go with the 14.12

Re: What size is this clone carb without numbers

Thats the problem... cocky new , overexperienced , moped experts "expecting" to be spoonfeed without knowing what they are holding in their own hands. Then starts the whinning, why me? im blind and cant read nor know what a clone is or every cline is a 15, so ill start 50 new whinning threads an never reAD. annoying.

Dellorto is worth the extra money , I personally have never used a clone. It's

Sometimes hard too get them running with a original carb, much less trying to figure out the clone and how accurate

There jet sizes.

But in reality how hard is it to give a helpful answer?
