Wow I'm late to the party on this thread. This is great. I keep telling myself I have enough peugeots and I don't need another. You made me want to start looking for another. Awesome work so far. Excited to see it come together.

Installing the Bogart’s. Quick question, the tire doesn’t look like it’s centered on the wheel properly. Look at how the two lines across the tire go along the outside or the wheel.
This is the “good” side with both lines showing.
And the “ bad” side. These are tubless tires not really meant for mopeds, but ive seen them run before, any ideas or advice would be much appreciated. -Mitch
Re: My Peugeot Wet Dream
The bead won't pop up and seat on the rim, that's why it looks like that. Deflate the tire, squirt a little dish soap in between the tire and rim in the spot where the bead won't seat and 3 or 4 inches to the left and right of the spot, and re-inflate. You might need to go up to 60psi to get them to pop into place.

Hey Brandon, thanks alot for the advice, ill try that right now. -Mitch
Re: My Peugeot Wet Dream
Tonights progress, tires on, swingarm modified to fit bigger tires (cut off some metal parts inside swingarm) installed dampeners, installed rear wheel and fit the chain. Bonus pic of my new set of Mitutoyo vernier calipers. Also got some hand me down Starett depth gauges and Starett vernier mics. Cool!

That’s the best belt I have found too. Maybe the sh50 belt would be better?
Re: My Peugeot Wet Dream
Daniel, im thinking that too. My current belt is too short
Re: My Peugeot Wet Dream
Good to know, im going to give the sh50 a shot first.
Re: My Peugeot Wet Dream
Today I crafted my intake, I cant express how much of a pain it is to cram a carb in a long swingarm 103.. so this was a godsend when I finished. I used a Dayco hose from my local autozone, part number in pictures. You will need to cut it to your desired length. The only complaint I have is that the hose is a little flimsy, maybe Ill wrap something around it to reinforce it. Ill see how it does on its maiden voyage. When cutting the hose I recommend a serrated blade like the kbar in the background. I also checked the engine movement to see if the carb would contact anything and it didn’t. I wonder if this will have a negative performance response?

You can fit anything you want on a 103, you just have to get a bit creative...
