I also forgot to mention that the Selettra CDI was awesome to install, ill have to see how it runs.
Thats pretty much it for now, im waiting for Treats to restock ebr forks so I can begin reassembly, all these pictures have been hard work in the previous months, I wish everyone well through these tough times. Mitch

Impressive write up, I absolutely love how clean everything is. I promised myself that i would never do French bikes, but this thread alone might be the thing that makes me give in and get a Peugeot when the chance comes.

Wow! I keep window shopping Ebay.fr for vintage SPX parts from Malossi, Giraudo Doppler and the likes. Sweet build going on there.

Hey Ryan, let me know if you score anything on ebay, maybe even post pics of your spx build on here? That would be rad! Graham, im in school for engineering at the moment, though im not too far in, I keep trying to figure out the movement of gasses, the expansion of them and all the other laws involved. I keep trying to wrap my head around a two stroke engine, the further you dig in the more complex it gets. Thats why I love mopeds. I call my work basic as I have no measurements, no idea what size to drill those oil holes. No know how on how to calculate anything. Hopefully I will after I graduate. As for the bike, it will be a track bike, with a little bit of seasoned street riding. Mitch

Interesting that the blowdown is only 25 degrees on that Bidalot cylinder. I would of assumed higher being a frenchy.

Today I did my rear brakes, im using drum in the rear and will upgrade if I need to later. I drilled some “cooling holes” in the mag and brake plate. I hope that they will add some sort of ventilation to the inside to help cool the shoes. I also slotted both shoes.

Thats it for today, I just ordered some treats. Tires, shocks, some other small stuff. Still waiting on ebr forks to come back in stock. Im using a 56 rear sprocket. I wont keep this on, only for break in and testing for now. If anyone has some gearing suggestions id appreciate it, front is a 10t.

I like this. This is nice. Going to keep the stock black with whacky accent colors? That would be dope. The way you waxed the paint makes it seem you like the stock color palate for sure.

well that escalated quickly. Nice work on the cases and excellent choices on the crank and ignition. The selettra is by far the nicest quality ignition (including oem moto) I've ever handled.
