That thing is too pretty to use, I would just put new dampeners in it, make it all pretty and hang it on the wall
Delrin is hard but it's what they make frame sliders out of.
It's supposed to take a beating, but I'm not Atomic so you'd have to ask Droidy Pendejo about it
Yeah I wouldn’t use this unless it was in a set of clamshell cases.

I had to draw lines on the edge of a fresnel lens and flip it every which way to believe this. Sometimes it's hard being a smoothbrain.
The pucks are made out of urethane, you can get it in about 20 different hardnesses. Like 90a probably for this application. It can be machined.
Hey Mike, if you still have this apart could you please measure the diameter of the pucks for me? I ordered one as well, and figured I would start trying to figure out puck replacement while I'm waiting for it to get shipped.
I cant wait to hear how these work out for you guys
Sweet thanks man! Ya I figured they only had that one available, but when I checked it out and saw they were still in stock I figured I'd go ahead and grab one as well.
Lemme know if you find any good material!
Ok I just ordered 6" of this in 90a hardness (thanks Graham!)

Shoot me your address and I'll send you half of it, looks like to fill a gear needs just over 1 1/2," so 3" will be plenty for both of us to cut a set. (edited)
Love this community.
