Seeking info on American Moped Corporation

Jaryd Conway /

Just acquired one of these in a trade, looking for any info on these. Mine is a Cyclone M4 GT.

Re: Seeking info on American Moped Corporation

It's a generic Italian moped, hard to tell from the pic but looks like the M01 motor? Looks like it shares a lot of parts with the Safari step through mopeds

Re: Seeking info on American Moped Corporation

Looks like a LEM to me....

Re: Seeking info on American Moped Corporation

Ohhh rare! In the us anyway! American moped was just the importer. Looks like it's a manual shift morini! Somebody here knows exactly what it is.

Re: Seeking info on American Moped Corporation

Nice score! I love that CA bear flag badge

The "M4" would suggest a manual 4 speed. Very different motor that may share some top end parts.

The second clue would be the foot lever...

Yeah I was drunk when I first saw this and made the first post, it's almost definitely an M04 which is a 3 speed

Re: Seeking info on American Moped Corporation

When it comes time to get parts try Blake @ Doscycles

They've got a lot of Franco Morini stuff.
