Last week i found this medal, its an honorary medal that all participants in the 10 day war against belgium got in 1831. Belgium became independent again in 1832, so it wasnt of much use.

It reads "loyal to king and country 1830/1831"

I found this little brass piece some time ago and couldn't decide what it was part of.

Turns out I own the same model "Search Light" bicycle lamp.

Around the original13 colonies the outhouses were the safest place to hide family's wealth when the British brigands or Paxton boys burned the house down and killed every one it was all that was left.

I saw the largest piece of malicite it's a green crystalline slab about 3 x 8 x 5 they found it here. the gemstone layer here is only 15-30 ft deep the Indians used to get jasper.

Just a small sample of a huge collection of old human made stuff I've found. All surface finds. Farmers are responsible for the digging. Also watershed areas, dry creek beds, and the likes. Pretty sure, to find stuff is why I exist on this planet. I wouldn't be on this site if it weren't for finding a pacer ss in a trash pile.

The orange point top right. I rode that moped to the field I found it in.

Re: Interesting stuff you found. (Archaeology, Metal Detecting,Fossils, Etc)

Yeah,my Uncle's plateau field in KY where he grew hay and tobacco was loaded with arrowheads.

We thought nothing of them.

Bought some geodes down around Tennessee at a gift shop. A completely white one with beautiful clear crystal inside like rock salt, a red one with diamond like crystals inside, one green one with clear crystal inside. Beautiful for about thirty bucks total!

But I love those natural spikes coming up.

My Grandpa in Texas has a 1700's Spanish coin collection. I doubt he found them but it's pretty darn cool.

1830's Large cent. Maybe 1835 or 1836. It's pretty worn.

Native American pottery fragment. The first piece I've found.
