Mine is a 1994 Chevrolet 2500 5.7Liter V8 with a 4L60E that needs to be fixed. Very shitty, drinks gas like hell, and can't be used for towing due to the 4L60E being weak. . .but the price was right.

Looks like it has a solid body on it. Well worth fixing!
This bomb here, more rust than truck, but runs great, 30mpg highway, (summer) looking to upgrade though, for sale if the price is right!
Is that a Luv truck?
Re: Post your ped hauler
^ It is an '81 Ford Courier, (rebadged Mazda B-2000) 2.0 4cyl. 4spd stick. No computer, rebuilt carb. No power anything, super sketchy, but damn if it always starts and runs. Favorite feature is the tie down cleats on the sides of the bed...what ever happened to those, oh yeah, wing windows rock too! :) (edited)

That is an expensive trans, but a very solid truck, would fix for sure, with light duty use would last a very long time.

I have the Ford Aerostar, and it isn't bad with the forward facing engine. Those FWDs though, yeah, I've had to work on them. Not easy!

My Astro is rear wheel drive like a full size van or pick up with normal Hydromatic transmission and a 4.3 engine is a Chevy 350 ci with 2 cylinders missing and sits up high to get under it so it’s not real bad to work on.
The Honda is not too bad either but yeah if you have to take the transmission out It would be a lot harder
Re: Post your ped hauler
4.3 is an incredible engine! :) I missed my chance at an awd Astro, but very pleased with my recent Toyota purchase, it is just not a ped hauler, too tiny.
Re: Post your ped hauler
Probably won’t have to take that Honda out Ken. Stephen, ever consider doing some body work? You have exceeded “patina” stage.
Re: Post your ped hauler
92 Toyota Corolla station wagon. Stuff them in back hatch...or toss on top........good morning!
Re: Post your ped hauler
My hauler of things:
2002 Dakota R/T 5.9L now with 233,000 miles.
Does ok on gas until you go over 65-70 mph, then it drinks the gas. Installed new dodge crate transmission 46RE about four years ago. Has firestone airbag kit with on board compressor. Frame brace, later model two piston caliper disc brakes and spindles, M1 intake and soon to have spintech ceramic coated full length headers and exhaust with aluminum eddy heads. Needless to say all my peds roll triple digits.

That s10 would be perfect. I didn't know they kept the iron duke that late. It must be injected.
