Good Taco places in Boston

We’re heading up to Boston tomorrow to pick up a bike and wanna know some decent places to get tacos, huge bonus points if we can get some beers at the same place. Otherwise tell me about some good bars out there, specifically near Allston

Sorry but if you want tacos you need to head west a few miles.

Well sick bro thanks not only do you not know where the best queso in New England is but you also most likely have performed a precise hemicorporectomy in your rumpus room.

Re: Good Taco places in Boston

For all y’all laymens:

Hemicorporectomy is a radical surgery in which the body below the waist is amputated, transecting the lumbar spine. This removes the legs, the genitalia, urinary system, pelvic bones, anus, and rectum........ The Taco thread took a turn.

My homie in Easton says that if you want a good generic taco spot in Allston go to “lone star taco bar”, but if you want to try something new go to “olitoki” which I guess is Mexican Korean infusion style taco spot... he also said that if you want stellar street tacos go to “chilacates” in Jamaica Plains which is about 9 miles from Allston. “Their al pastor and seafood tacos are amazing“- bwilly boston mass.

Don’t worry ‘Ol “Jeff” definitely knows what a hemicorporectomy is and I’m onto him. Thanks for the suggestions jayson I appreciate it! The chilacates place definitely sounds right up my alley but I may have to hit up a couple of these places while I’m out there, you know what they all say ‘when In Allston!’ People say that sometimes.

Re: Good Taco places in Boston

Yea no one says that....... but boston Steve replied with:

“Hey bro. Best food in boston is mainly in the north end(lil Italy). Tenoch for tacos, Mare for fish. Bricco for pasta and steaks. All three of those are a block or 2 from Hanover st.“

Good luckZ

Legally that qualifies it as a handicapped quesadilla

*handicapable*

Re: Good Taco places in Boston

Wait, I thought the quesadilla was the sandwich and the taco is just skinny toast wearing a disguise?

Boston is really shit for tacos- dont do it. I've heard Anna's Taqueria makes decent burritos but better yet get something like middle eastern (azama grill is great near Pike Powdercoating) or like some good ol clam chowdah.

We saw the middle eastern grill! Looked pretty good. Unfortunately we didn’t even have any time to sit down and eat anywhere by the time we got the bikes and stuff loaded up I was bummed. In other news you gotta come visit again homie!!

Gotta ride the next time you come around
