I bought a noped? Mooter? At least it ain't another sit upon.

Adly RT50. Sort of Zuma clone engine. Got it off my girlfriend's sister, I've been the only one working on this thing for the past year so most of the dumb po shit is my doing, lol.

I've been slowly building an Airsal kitted LC Mina engine without a definite idea of where to put it, I think this may wind up being it's home.

Dirty30 Dillon /

I would grab one of these in a heartbeat. Good score.

Re: I bought a noped? Mooter? At least it ain't another sit upon.

yeah i'm so intrigued by these, really want to try to ride one sometime just to check it out

Re: I bought a noped? Mooter? At least it ain't another sit upon.

I saw the original version of these in Italy. The Suzuki Street Magic. They're both pretty sweet. I think its a great alternative to a traditional scooter design.

Re: I bought a noped? Mooter? At least it ain't another sit upon.

I'm going with mooter. It's a scooter in motorcycle clothes.

That is kinda cool. You should put a hobbit sub on it

Maybe you can fit Jog parts on that. Those engines can rip dicks with a little work.

Lol... I'm more scooter trash than moped trash for the most part. When I said Mina engine I was referring to an Eton longcase I'm building. So yeah, Jog/Zuma style stuffz.

Re: I bought a noped? Mooter? At least it ain't another sit upon.

That thing is hideous....therefore, I LOVE it! Keep us posted! Never seen anything like it!

If you use long cases on an RT50, you could have yourself a stretched scoot to keep the front end down

They are really great engines but they do like to seize

It’s already a long case.

?? Only if you don’t tune properly. I haven’t noticed them to be anymore prone to issues than any other 2t engines I’ve played with.

Someone who doesn't know what the fuck they're talking about. The minarelli engine can take serious power. If they blow up a lot, its because they're so common and accessible to jackasses who would blow them up.

Re: I bought a noped? Mooter? At least it ain't another sit upon.

How comfortable is that seat?

Re: I bought a noped? Mooter? At least it ain't another sit upon.

it's pretty neat. Needs more storage, it's a scooter without all the useful parts!

I think it’d be better if i were shorter, I push back to the edge. It’s not too bad, it’s a high enough density foam that it doesnt completely collapse under you, and shaped well so it doesn’t give weird pressure points.

When I put it back together for the previous owner last year we didn’t have the right engine mounts, it should have rubber bushings instead of bearings on the hanger, lots of vibration due to that. Her ex swapped the built engine that was previously in it to a different bike he was selling, so she was left with the bike and his old engine with a seized cylinder.

There’s just enough room under the seat for a little bottle of oil and a small tool roll, but that’s only because the oil injection tank got removed. I noticed online that Adly now offers them with a luggage rack but the way it mounts it looks like it may require a different rear fender.

Yeah, I wish the Suzuki had come here. It was offered as a 50cc or a 110cc 2 stroke.

The Adly is available in other markets with a 90 cc 4 stroke that looks to be a Honda Cub type engine. Kind of explains some of the weirdness in the engine mount.

Also in other markets the RT50 seems to have been offered with a proper expansion chamber, routed dirt bike style.(edited)

I recant that statement. If I stayed in the middle of the seat it may be ok, but I've collapsed the foam on the rear edge of the seat now and it is quite uncomfortable for me. I figured before that the foam was as collapsed as it was getting as the person I got it from isn't small and put a lot of miles on the bike, but they have shorter legs than me so they fit the bike more as designed. I think I'm going to cut a piece of that high density floor foam stuff and extend the seat about six inches back onto the fender.

I'm 6'3", about 220# just for reference.

Yeah you really should just save your money and or or sell all your parts bikes whatever you Gotta do to buy a brand new smaller displacement maybe like at 250cc ninja type motorcycle! you could buy a brand new 1 year old year old model for pretty reasonable price,

Sure you won’t have to post here ever again but you’ll have a reliable bike that will last for years because Those bikes are designed to handle double riders so you’ll be OK

Re: I bought a noped? Mooter? At least it ain't another sit upon.

Well,Thomas………...anything looks better than the `snail' look. The forks look a little upright though. Guess they're okay?

Why? If I spend motorcycle money and have to fuck with tags and such I’m buying a highway capable machine.

Dumb little motorbikes are more fun.

Re: I bought a noped? Mooter? At least it ain't another sit upon.
