Well I ended up closing on the deal today. Did a quick cleaning and inspection.
THE BAD
Tires do not hold air and should be replaced.
Gas Tank is solid nasty fuel... from 1963?
Hand Grips are shot and cannot be found.
Cables in fair condition
Some damage to Head Light
THE GOOD
It has spark.
The carb was drained after it was last used.
Excellent compression.
Cables that are in fair condition are all original fabric coated cables.
Seat is not bad under the Sheep Skin cover.
No time to actually work on it other than what I have done today. I did pull the GAs tank and Carb. I will fill the Gas Tank with cleaner to see what I can do with it. Clean the carb when I find the time and get the fuel system all set for next year.
