At what point do we allow people to make their own decisions?
Perhaps when folks to not take into account their people who have to take care of them in their sick and dying time in life.
What would be the selfless part of expediting your own demise in such a manner that your spouse, partner, family or friends will have to attend to your diaper, wipe your ass, change your piss bag and tube feed you for months while you slowly decay alive?
