I have the m18, too. Two of them. I used them everyday, all day, assembling bikes and grills and shit at walmarts, before I got stuck in virus-limbo.
First one I had came from a big batch that had switch problems. The useless lights would stay on and kill your battery faster, but I used it for a year before I took it to Milwaukee and they replaced it free.
They're awesome, lightweight, and will do most bike and moped jobs. Reverse isn't as strong as forward, but it's pulled every V1 flywheel and clutch nut off I've had. Makes life way easier to get those off and on.
Also, to compare, I had a dewalt and an old makita 24v, too. The milwaukee seemed more powerful than both of them. (edited)
