The capri?

I always liked the fast back one, factory wide body on them too. Cool ass car.

I miss 80s cars, so many rad designs and normal cars that got turbo power.

Re: Bearing howl on the Mustang

Yep Capri.

Re: Bearing howl on the Mustang

Bearing howl's gone. Took it for a 25 mi. test ride. Got it warmed up and no noise. Put in left side wheel bearing and seal, right side diffential bearing, new synthetic 75-140 fluid, rear cover gasket, 1 can brake cleaner, some red threadlocker and 45 minute gasket maker.

Total repair cost: 130 bucks.

I DID find out it's missing gthe two bump stops on rear axle housing, so ordered them just now for 64 shipped from tascaFord parts. (edited)

Those were the glorious days werent they? With those wonderful feedback carburetors, janky emissions, and brick looking body styling.

Blaine- The artist formerly known as Plumber Crack "(OFMC)" /

Makes a big fucking deal about not replacing a fuel filter with a fuel pump...

But then goes through the process to pull the differential, but only replaces one of the bearings....

Priceless

Re: Bearing howl on the Mustang

Replacing the fuel pump but not the filter.

Priceless.

The right side wheel bearing were replaced by ME a while back, so no need. LOL! The left differential bearing was perfect. No need to replace a perfect bearing.
