Wait... How does a 3cyl cam fit in a 4cyl engine?

Re: I now own one of my dream cars

Easy blaine....make one a cupholder.........

I know what he's talking about, they make an xfi profile cam for the 4.

Damn that's pretty daniel. That a Canadian car? And yeah, hills are a bitch. You really need to ring it out. It's alright if I have a bit of a running start.lol (edited)

Re: I now own one of my dream cars

I guess it is Canadian as it was manufactured at the Canadian Suzuki/GM joint venture factory, but the Canadian model is a Pontiac firefly. My Chevy was sold in Vancouver washington originally then moved into Oregon it’s got 190,xxx on the chassis.

Actually people do run the four cylinder on three if they’re trying to get into the hypermiling. I may have misspoke on the model they used it in, but they sell an economy cam for the 1.3. I’ve been lurking on the geo forums a lot lately.

Yeah a few years ago I looked at the exact car daniel showed, it only looked like surface rust on the outside but underneath it was Definitely structural only because the guy had to drive it in the winter for two years Prior and he had a hell of a time due to its lightweight and had a slight quarter panel scrape at low speed trying to get out of his street that had a mild uphill,

Those are sweet cars and fun to drive other then a month or two when the winter is the worst here,

Daniel damn you My son is jealous Ha ha !

Re: I now own one of my dream ca

Must have had bad tires or something? I find tiny FWD cars just plow through the snow? Sprints rusted almost instantly, as did Metro's, a shame they were a blast, that's why it is nice to see his in that condition! :)

My dad’s stick shift ‘79 Honda Civic with snow tires mounted on the front wheels, used to plow though the snow when all the rear wheeled cars were spinning their wheels. I used to love driving that car.

Not been my experience at all, and we get some serious winter here! :) I have only ever used snow tires on rear drive cars, which can be just fine in the snow, if you have some weight in them, good rubber and know how to drive.

The Nova was before that.
