If evolution is real how did we end up with Adam Levine??? When did talent become an outdated word?

The pendulum swings both ways. We’re on our way back down. Devolution now. Look around.

Fuck twatter, I’m not opening that link. Prolly typical rwc garbage anywho. Go ahead and tell us what it says.

Re: How to convince a flat earther that global warming is real.

It's just a video of some dimwitted Karen complaining about having to wear a mask, nothing we haven't seen already by thousands of Karens.

Whiny toddler Karens. We get to see some real adult temper tantrums these days. Grow up and learn to deal with reality already.

Re: How to convince a flat earther that global warming is real.

I spent a lot of time toying with flat earthers. one thing that really sets that level of conspiracist apart is a strong desire to be "superior" by knowing something others don't, and that's very appealing. Then they build up these very strong defenses against the most common points -

"if the earth is flat where's the edge" to which they confidently and surely can reply "there's an ice wall surrounding the waters of theearth" and in their certainty they make you out, in their minds, to be the ignorant fool...

So - how do you get around that. Well 1, approach as a sympathetic but maybe skeptical supporter. The entire attraction is being a part of this group of people that's in the know, fighting back against everyone else. and a big part of the wall they've built up that you're going to have to get through is just blocking out any opposition logic or opinion etc. So don't break the wall right away, come around it, and point at some flaws from their side where theyre not threatened and on the defensive.

and 2, their logic is usually tied strongly to a few knowns. which are false but they treat as a constant, a given. but under scrutiny it falls apart. my advise would be to tackled it small first, make little cracks rather than smashing at the whole. for example, instead of jumping right to the clear trends graphing the global mean, get them involved in asking details, like who even tracks the temperatures of the globe? get them involved in doing the research that's not just looking at a youtube video supporting their view, and when you start picking into the details the big monoliths they've followed start to show their flaws, and that's when you push, gently, to break apart the cracks.

I still can't figure out why you would even waste the mental energy trying to interact with someone so obviously removed from reality?

Its like taking apart a motor to see how it works. Then parting out said motor.

Re: How to convince a flat earther that global warming is real.

I forgot about this site https://flatearth.ws/

It's awesome when it comes to debunking every single flat earth argument.
