You're buying a purely speculative asset that only has value because other people think that other people will perceive it as having more value. Doge is not revolutionary in any sense of the word in terms of cryptocurrency. BILLIONS of Doge is mined each year. And the more expensive it gets the more it gets mined, meaning the more are created each year. It's designed to inflate like crazy, to lose value. This is literally the worst idea I've seen in a long time. I've owned dozens and dozens of cryptocurrencies, I'm not just some random naysayer on the internet. (edited)

Re: I’m buying DOGE coin

Naysay all you want

DOGE is #10 and climbing

Re: I’m buying DOGE coin

It’s also 5 billion a year can be mined

It is inflationary

How many billion regular dollars do they print a year?

It’s not gonna kill you to have a few hundred of these coins in the future they’re becoming more widely accepted as payment and the price rises with the adoption rate

Re: I’m buying DOGE coin

Re: I’m buying DOGE coin

I probably should have gotten out at .08

Lessons have been made

I started taking advantage of the volatility and watching the market cap

I started selling at .06 and buying in the low .0510’s and making a few dollars($4-5) offof $300

And since then I’ve figured out how to open up a leverage position ( more risky but again I’m taking advantage of this dip right now) .... anyways .... not exactly putting it all in Doge anymore but I’m using the little tricks I learned to make me a few bucks here and there right now which is cool because I’m usually broke as fuck

I was worried about you this morning, glad you didn't panic sell. This shit is the real bubble though, nobody knows where the top is for sure but I sold half of the $2 in doge I bought in December or January for $100, I don't really care about the other half. Hedge against the crash, sell in increments every day and don't tell your family or friends about the money you made. A lot of people feel entitled to it because "you didn't really earn it" which is bullshit.

Re: I’m buying DOGE coin

So to save me scrolling back through, how much did you invest and how much have you made?

Re: I’m buying DOGE coin

I bought about 10,000 Doge at around.0445

And it’s .38 now

Spent $400

It’s now

$3800

punkrock randy /

Better pull out now before you blow your load.

Re: I’m buying DOGE coin

0.69 4/20 doge day

Re: I’m buying DOGE coin

You still sitting on those? I spent $350, which bought me 6,411 coins at just under 5

.5 cents months back. That equates to just under $3,500 net profit right now. So many people are talking about it right now. It hit $.60 to tonight!

Re: I’m buying DOGE coin

Somehow I thinks its going to play out like a short lived hot streak at the card table. Gambling; if you dont quit when youre ahead you never be a winner.

Re: I’m buying DOGE coin

I expect Musk will pump up the value even more on SNL this Saturday, only time will tell when the bubble pops.

Re: I’m buying DOGE coin

Everyone I knew set sell limits at 0.69 because it's a joke currency and joke investment, so obviously a joke number is perfect selling point.

and sure enough it hit 69 for a second, bounced there as people sold to buy back, and sputtered out.

I only have like a dozen doggies so It comes up in my feed and I can watch it, but congrats if you successfully profited on it.
