3 is nothin.

There is probably more new kits here then I may ever use and many used ones I bought to mess with or ones that were on bikes I worked on that most are still usable,

I’m just silly that way, if I get or work on a bike and has a kit on it I yank it most times and put on a new one especially if the bike is for someone or to be sold leaving nothing for chance.

It wasn’t a problem in the past because I used to just sell off usable ones but now many kits are cheap especially when there’s a sale going on so most people prefer to buy new.

Re: How many cylinders at your house?

My wife's durango: 6

My dart swinger: 8

My Viper: 10

Two spare engines for my dart : 16

Lawn mower, weed eater, edger, leaf blower: 4

Chain saw: 1

Generator: 1

5 mopeds and 1 spare E50: 6

That's 52 cylinders. I have a few stock cylinders in a box and a new top end or two. But I didn't include those.

Re: How many cylinders at your house?

you have a viper?

i mean you've def got the chokehold winning for most cylinders in a single vehicle

Yup. Maybe even take the cake on displacement! Thats a 488 cubic inch engine. My dart is a 360 stroked to a 408. I also have a few nitro RC cars that I didn't include. Those cylinders are so small.

Could you post some pictures of your dart and give a description of the year and what was stock on it originally because I love Chrysler Plymouth cars of that era!

I can post some. Its not pretty but it's pretty fast (to me). Lol.

It's a 1970 2 door Dart Swinger. Factory 225 slant 6 with a column shift auto. Bench seat, drum brakes, manual every thing except power steering. Even has a manual foot pump for the windshield washer! I daily drove it for a few years before tearing it apart and swapping the drivetrain.

It's gone through some changes but its currently a 360 stroked to a 408. Decent cam, aluminum heads, all forged bottom end. Full roller valvetrain. Holley fuel injection. Mildly built 727 automatic with a 3300 RPM stall. Bigger rear axle with 3.73 gears. Converted to power disc brakes. Swapped it to a console and floor shifter with bucket seats. Has ran a best of 11.55 at 117 MPH so far, if you're into drag racing. It's slightly faster than the viper in the 1/4. I've been hoping to find a decent Swinger moped to build and match my ratty Dart Swinger. Someday. The engine pic is when I was converting it from carburetor to EFI. So the engine was a little bare.

Gotta love the Dart!! 👍🏼 Just not the new ones.

Re: How many cylinders at your house?

You ever heard of Calvo tuning? My friend Bob's kid is their lead tech, they sell like 1600hp viper kits, and built one that puts down "3000" hp? what the everloving fuck

Re: How many cylinders at your house?

I have heard of Calvo. There are a few vipers around Oklahoma and one or two of them have been worked on at Calvo. I think some of those 1500+ HP builds are like ~$150K plus the price of the car! Crazy.

Re: How many cylinders at your house?

You asked to see the toy gas outboards, here they are. I have bought @ 6 more since these pictures.

I am always looking for more for the collection. If any one has one let me know.

Enjoy.

Re: How many cylinders at your house?

Are those nitro outboard engines for RC boats? If so, that's awesome!

I have several nitro RC cars and trucks. I've never had the time or $$ to get into planes or boats.

Re: How many cylinders at your house?

All are nitro. Some are RC others for tether use from the 50s.

Used to race the RC electric trucks. Never any good at it buy me and the kids sure had fun back then.

Re: How many cylinders at your house?

This was a fun break from work

6+4+6+4+4+3+4 = 31 in cars + 4 in spare alfa motor = 35

3+3+2 = 6 in jetskis

3+2+1+1 = 7 in motorcycles

32 in complete spare moped motors

31 in mopeds

-------------------------

~111 cylinders or so not counting boxes of old kits or stuff like that.

Yeah Mopar or no car what I used to think, shame they’re priced into oblivion because dumski’s that basically banned hemi’s at NASCAR just like today’s media cancel culture and made everybody hate Chrysler Plymouth cars even though they set almost almost every drag record Just because they wanted the more popular Chevys to win so they became very scarce especially after the haters owned junkyards would crushed complete cars in late70’s early 80’s instead of letting people buy them!

The hemi engine is still the best engine to run for top fuel, if the crooked NASCAR didn’t for all practicality ban the hemi cars they would’ve had a production double overhead cam hemi by now!

There are still one of the two prototypes of the dual overhead cam four valve per cylinder hemi engine out there in someone’s garage just drooling over it because only one of the two that were ordered destroyed got destroyed!

Vipers is cool but but I love the older A body cars!

Re: How many cylinders at your house?

Just did an actual count mainly because I am having one of those days where I can't decide which one of my 20 different projects I should tackle next, and I am not referring to any of my own unfortunately. Rough time of year so rather than doing something productive I thought why not give myself a reality check to maybe get me off my ass to get something done after I realize how deep this madness has really gotten. As of right now we're looking at 214 total. What's my prize?
