Love my old CT110. Honda doesn't have the new CT125 (nor the Monkey & Cub) in it's Canadian lineup.

Re: Honda CT 125

One dealer only got one! Doesn't even know if or when he gets another.Sold the one 30 min. When he opened.

Re: Honda CT 125

Got to keep eyes open for old ones I guess, cheaper....but boy, fuel injection would be sweet!

Re: Honda CT 125

Yeah covid has totally boned the international auto supply but I know for a fact that when someone like Honda rolls out something new like this they always go kinda slow, and if they need to cut production is usually gonna be in the smaller stuff with less margin.

Dealers were sold out all summer of my KTM 390 adv but I found a guy who bought one 'just to check it out' decided it didn't get ridden as much as his other 8 brand new motorcycles, and he gave me a pretty good 'don't want to store it for winter' special about 2k off list price.

Re: Honda CT 125

They re-released the Super Cub in the US several years ago with a lot of new bells and whistles and a 125 and are having success with it. The Honda dealer down the street sells them as fast as he gets them. The new models go up in price around $50 to $100 each year. With tax, title, etc, I'm told they are around $4400 our the door.

With successful sales of the Super Cub, it didn't take them long to come up with the Trail model. I watched a review on YouTube and the guy felt that the Trail model is the better bike. I just looked at prices and its only $100 more than the Super Cub.

I would definitely get one if I finally decided to get a NEW bike.

Yeah, monkeys go super fast too. I’ll hold onto my old shite for now. Would be nice for a daily rider though.

Re: Honda CT 125

Found a dealer Who is taking orders. Went up and put in my order! 3-6 months.

Re: Honda CT 125

Damn, riding season will be over before you get it!

Re: Honda CT 125

It'll be close Stephen. But I've still got the Grande to finish ,plus work on the other Vespa s before I give them to family. Also going to get my motorcycle endorsement so I am legal when I pick it up. The other dealers didn't even try to work on getting them! I understand the whole covid trickle down, so I'm in no hurry. :)

Brandon Weiss (Detective brandon to you) /

I'll just wait a couple years and buy a lightly used one for half price

Re: Honda CT 125

I like to think i could wait a few years and buy a lightly used one for half price, but look at the groms, theyre what 3500 new? And used ones even 5 years old with 5 figure mileage sell for $3000. At that point get the new one (especially since the new new are higher compression & 5 speed)

True, for $3500 I'd be all in. If it was $5500 with dealer markups I would wait

Re: Honda CT 125

$4133.88 Tax,delivery, title, etc, etc. State8 Motorcycles.

I wonder if you can stick a 170 bore made for a grom on it? I'd think it would fit

Re: Honda CT 125

Not touching Brandon! :)

Oooo, and a slight re-gear of rear end....

Re: Honda CT 125

I think I better stick to slight modification on the mopeds Stephen. There's no groups to swarm with here. So the Honda will at least keep the ass riders, double looks, and cussers at bay!

Re: Honda CT 125

^ I don't blame you....it's new after all..."if it ain't broke" is very sound advice, just wish they eeked a bit more top end out of it, but I take it it is more of an off-road thing, either way enjoy it!
