I emailed this guy and he JUST EMAILED me at 2:31 pm. "Alexandro, Sold". There ends an overpriced, yet still bought moped.

He may have sold it, but you'll never know what it actually sold for.

Re: Puch Maxi II Gold 1980 Columbus, OH $1200.

Reading and laughing at this whole thread. Those that are offended about the price: are looking at this all wrong. If he inflates the asking price, that only inflates the value of your moped - which is a good thing for you should you want to sell.

And yes, the definition of market price is whatever the market will pay . . . so ya, if it sells at $1,200 - it is technically worth $1,200. Don't be mad about it, just use that fact to your advantage.

Also, remember that location is a HUGE factor in price. For example, here in Denver, small scooters and mopeds are worth much more than they are in the mountains. Same state, but drastic difference in pricing (markets, market value). Now take that same principal and apply to different states - can be a huge difference from market to market.

A number of us in this thread are indeed in Columbus, and familiar with this market. His price was outrageous.

Ok, that still does not change the principles I discussed. I didn't once point to Columbus as my case study. I have a feeling I am chatting with teenagers.

I think r/moped might be more suitable to your delicate forum sensibilities, just based on your posts thus far.

Re: Puch Maxi II Gold 1980 Columbus, OH $1200.

Elevation of pricing changes with the actual elevation of topography?

Interesting.

Ps: Scottie you seem like a turd... just what Denver needs more of.

Re: Puch Maxi II Gold 1980 Columbus, OH $1200.

Wow, that is like the $1,000 Express on cl here in Mpls. :)

Re: Puch Maxi II Gold 1980 Columbus, OH $1200.

Scottie if we charge some an overpriced amount for something it just makes everything else expensive. So if you sell your overpriced moped your going to buy something with that money that is overpriced. Keep mopeds cheap because they are cheap, don’t pay stupid prices from some Gucci bag, the Gucci bag was probably made for like $50 bucks and they sold it for Thousands. It really fucks up the market when people pay for over price shit.(edited)

Cheetachrome is right! I’m string my own pot right now so it doesn’t curdle

Fuck those who use this site to facilitate inflating moped prices. That is not what this site is intended for. And the Moped Army Price Patrol or M.A.P.P. for short will always win because no one will read our comments and buy the bike.

So we win, Fuck the price inflaters!

Re: Puch Maxi II Gold 1980 Columbus, OH $1200.

And to think that I paid $1500 for a mint condition Kawasaki Ninja zx6r crotch rocket with zero rust and runs like a champ while theres actually somebody asking $2399 for a '77 Puch!? Yowzers...
