1977 Puch Maxi FOR SALE

1977 Puch Maxi ( $1000, Open To Offers) <-that’s the Facebook price ladies and gentlemen.

I was recently in my second motorcycle accident so I need to sell all my shit. Completely rebuilt single speed E50 with 70cc TCCD kit. Engine has been refreshed and rebuilt from the bottom to the top. EBR inverted forks, led taillight/brake light, refreshed wiring and electronics, performance built clutch, Trail Tech temp gauge, Puch Proma GP Performance exhaust from the original Puch Shop Racing team, epoxy coated tank. The list goes on forever. It’ll run about 50mph with me on it . I have tons of pictures of the engine build for anyone interested. Build was done by the legendary Chris Straub.

LOL’d @ “legendary.” I’m sorry to hear you were in an accident Ian, wishing you a quick recovery. Nice comfort enhancement on the seat! That bike defenitely hauls, I’m 225 and would get me up some pretty decent hills quick, good suspension and magnum swingarm too.

What gearing? I have a 1978, stock gears. It goes 45 now (can't wait to see what it does with new seals.) And what clutch mods?

17x40

Clutch is just a braced oem 2 shoe with kickstart springs three turns in from flush. Cut down the posts and countersunk the brace to clear screws within the bell.

Transfers were matched/enlarged in the cases and kit.

Re: 1977 Puch Maxi FOR SALE

I did not go as far as you did on the transfers. I knew I had to go back in put bearings/seals anyway. I need to find a brace, so I can get my clutch engaging to my satisfaction. (Then again, My other moped is a Garelli VIP. Talk about frustrating. By comparison, the Puch is a breeze.) Blue springs, and 15-40 oil helped, but still grabs too early. You will get your money. By the time I finish, not sure if I want to add it all up.
