HT Coil is least likely culprit. Test yours. Across the positive to ground should be 1.5 ohms. Way more likely condenser or points.

Internal

Re: WTB: Batavus ignition coil

This is the coil that Robert Parr is referring to. Previous owner soldered the winding of the ignition coil. This one is measuring ~2ohms (assuming it needs to be less thane 1ohm).

- Points have been cleaned and adjusted

- Spark plug cable and boot have been replaced

- Blue/black wire grounded (http://www.myronsmopeds.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/Batavus-Regency-Wiring1.jpg)

- Condenser replaced

- Disconnected the kill switch

- Swapped out H.T. coil with known good one

...still no spark. (edited)

Did you by chance replace the oem horn? Did you check motor to frame ground?

Re: WTB: Batavus ignition coil

So,....does anyone have an extra “internal” ignition coil I could buy

Someone gotta have a Bosch ignition coil. They are not Bat specific

I may have one. I'll have to check

The reason I ask is the bat has an oem specific horn and if it was replaced with a puch Tomos Sachs horn you'll get nodda on the Iggy.

Re: WTB: Batavus ignition coil

So, I rewound the primary ignition coil and Voila--Spark!!!
