I’ve been getting a lot of response from beginners here, and I should clarify.

I’d rather not port stock e50 cylinders.

It’s just not worth it for you if you want substantial gains. Stock puch Piston port 50cc sucks shit unless it’s very ported, then there’s all sorts of setup pitfalls that you’ll probably fuck up plus other things that must be done like clutch mods and timing adjustments and getting squish tight.

I will port special stock cylinders, rare ones or for stock class racing and do reed conversions on them. But spending $100-150 on a stock puch cylinder just is crazy when you can get a treats reed for cheap then have me deck and port that. That’s when you get something special and really fun that’s worth your money and my time. I make crazy shit, take advantage of my craziness

Usually yes.. depends on how much meat is there around the port and how big the main port is, and whether or not the studs are sealed or open. Often aux ports pop into the stud holes so open studs sucks to do.

is the plating bond strong?

Tomos a55 I did liked to lift plating off easily.

Like if your bike is sucking shit and you don’t know wats up or want to get a full JBOT special project build. Haha never have done that before but if the money was right, well you know.... I’m flexible

I sometimes prefer working on a whole bike so all it’s problems can all be fixed. Too often a port job gets fucked up by people not setting them up right and seizing them fast, fuck that
