Re: Selling or trading for mini van

It only has 88 miles on it and still have original owners manual

46 MPH...was that when it was in the bed of a truck? Bone stock (which I imagine this is) you could hit about 46 KPH (28MPH).

All that aside, what is your price? I have always thought Motrons were sharp looking bikes, and that color is fantastic.

Always loved a good Medalist. Mine always seem to be red, but I dig the bronze/green color of yours. Wish i had a spare mini van to trade you. GLWS!!

Re: Selling or trading for mini van

That moped is worth a decent minivan ?? Funny I just dropped about 6k into my 1993 awd previa. New engine , installation by a competent friend etc etc... But that moped is sure worth it .....not!

Re: Selling or trading for mini van

I'm not sure why you'd want a $500 mini van

Re: Selling or trading for mini van

As the self proclaimed Motron expert, and I have 10 of them, the most I paid for one was $700, and that was when I thought I would never find another green one like that.

Bone stock will go 30 mph with 11/44 sprockets. 11/36 will go 40, don't know about kits.

Yet

Yeah, the metal flake green Medalists are my favorite. I've had my first since 1979.

Tempting. Very tempting.

11/36 with a very light 100 pound riser on a very long slight downhill with a tail wind in full tuck mabye 40. Never had a stock minarelli do over 30.

Re: Selling or trading for mini van

Well, it was 35 years ago and I might have weighed 135 and it probably was downhill with a tailwind...

Re: Selling or trading for mini van

11/36 is tall af for a stock v1, is there any torque with that setup?

What I believe to be a concrete pig in the background is stirring up old memories of adolescence when I stole one. 🤣For no good reason aside from being an ass. That thing was heavy as F.

No torque at all. Speed would drop to 5 or 10 mph going up steep hills. Nice in flat areas, though.
