Most of the speedos, because it's cheap to do this way, are calibrated at one point, usually expected stock max. so tomos get set to read 30 at 30. and zero is obviously zero, so they read pretty accurately in that range. but above that top expected setpoint, single point calibration cheap speedos can get quickly way off. eg: 45mph readings on 35mph tomos'
