what's the history of the bike? did you just get it? What have you done to it?

Re: Urban express won't fire.

How do you know that plug is good? Put a new one in anyway. You need a good spare.

Re: Urban express won't fire.

Bought bike last Oct. Had been sitting for 5 years. PUT IN FRESH GAS AND RAN FINE. ROAD SEVERAL TIMES. LAST WEEK I PUT IN A NEW PLUG, SPRAYED STARTING FLUID IN CYL. STARTED RIGht up. Trailers back to Toledo last week, now nothing, Bought new plug and held it against motor, can see lots of spark. Sprayed fluid put in plug, no fire, nothing, thanks

Clean the petcock/filter.

Re: Urban express won't fire.

Toledo ??? What did you expect ? LOL . JK . ;)

Do as Ryan says .

Hopefully you're running a good paper in line fuel filter .

It's possible that the float valve is stuck shut . Try giving the float bowl a few good whacks with the butt end of a hefty screwdriver . That may loosen the needle .

Next would be cleaning the carb .

Re: Urban express won't fire.

Not theres and oily substance "gas" dripping from end if exhaust pipe.

Do what Ryan says and clean petcock/filter and yes check float valve. Give that carb a really good cleaning and see if it helps. You have dripping oil out of the exhaust stinger?

Hit up the Zeros in Toledo. They have a shop and are friendly to newcomers :)

Or bring it down to Columbus. I'll fix that mule.
