It's a crapshoot when you buy used cylinders. I bought one off ebay and the seller, prior to shipping, decided to remove the base gasket with a screwdriver. It didn't go well. In addition, you generally have no idea how worn the cylinder is. It could have 6000 miles on it and be worn out of spec. Pictures don't tell you much here. And it will cost you too much to over bore it and buy an oversized piston and rings. Here's a new 49cc cylinder that will work on your urban with piston and rings and gaskets.

and with the new cylinder, you won't have to scrape off an old crusty base gasket that's been on there for 40 years.(edited)

You can get a new stockoshocko kit for like 80 bucks, it's direct bolt-on
