Recently purchased this to assist in pulling out the bearings in my V1 engine cases because I just have not been able to get them out any other way.
Feel like I’m missing something though, how would I use this to pull out to bearings?

Yup, on treatland they had mentioned that it can work for both.
Realizing though that in the description it mentions that you use this with the crankshaft, can this not be used in the cases as well? (edited)
That's for pulling a bearing off of a crankshaft. Not out of a case.
Edit- not familiar with the v1. But cant you just heat the cases and tap em' out? (edited)
Thanks Aaron, after rereading how Puch used it and the treatland description I realized I just wasted $70 -.-
But all is good. It’s how it’s recommended to be done. Will have to give it another go here soon

It's actually a very useful tool, not a waste. The bearings could have just as easily come out still attached to the crank, and then you would have been happy to have it. I use mine all the time.
Just heat the case with a torch around the bearing for 30 seconds or so and tap it out with a hammer and a punch.
Ya it's used to pull bearings off of a crankshaft like a bearing splitter.

As suggested heating the case let those suckers fall right out! Don’t know why I didn’t believe the V1 Rebuild Wiki!
