1989 NS50F starts on choke for 3 second then goes dead

Cleaned the carb and tank. There 2 jets in there one is high speed and the second is idle. Does anyone kno if the idle jet has a hole all the way through it. I’m almost certain it doesn’t but wanted to make sure. Anyone ran into this problem. I’m sure it’s starving for fuel just don’t kno what else it could be

How can a jet be a jet if it doesn't allow fuel passage ?

Of course the idle jet has a hole through it . In fact there are holes on it's side as well .

Pull it out and thoroughly clean it .

Yeah, it'd just be a bolt if there wasn't a hole through it. You need to see some light through the whole thing. As of right now it's starved for fuel cause of that jet

Re: 1989 NS50F starts on choke for 3 second then goes dead

just buy a new carb, or sell us the bike, which is a 1990 model most likely, but who's counting?
