New engine replacement.

could someone please help me with a question about putting a new motor on my tomos? you can buy a new engine from treats. But it comes without a mag. How difficult is that to install and the process to get it fired up?

Re: New engine replacement.

It's not. Put it on and time it. There's an article in the wiki.. Why can't you rebuild urs? Prolly alot cheaper too

Re: New engine replacement.

Well my a35 has almost 20.00milles on it and has never had any work done except clutch reline. I have the money to buy a brand new engine. Its worth it to me if all have to do is put my mag carb and cdi on the new engine.

Re: New engine replacement.

Just seems to me that a new motor would be a complete waste of resources . Even if it's a zero mile motor .

But , if you have the throw away money ...

Just fix what is wrong with yours

Re: New engine replacement.

My bad. Its mopedjunkyard that has the new a35s. Not treats.

Mpjs got new stock engines for $295.00 and new a35 kitted $450.00

Re: New engine replacement.

Those aren't new. That's why it say under 1000mi no warranty/as is.

Re: New engine replacement.

Richard Eberline /

I have one for sale, lots of new parts and upgrades.

Re: New engine replacement.

What exactly is it?

Re: New engine replacement.

You're gonna inevitably be disappointed unless you build your shit yourself. Not only is it cheaper, but when it breaks it's your fault instead of the dude who you bought it from that doesn't care that it broke. You'll learn a hell of a lot more and save some good money just fixing your own shit. That's the whole spirit of mopeds

I can rebuild yours for you if you like. New crank, bearings, seals, gaskets, clutches of needed and whatever top end. Labor is $35+ parts.

That's literally the best price you will get.

I won't even evaluate bikes for twice that in labor.
