The light that illuminates the speedometer on my Vespa Ciao is burnt out and I'm curious if anyone knows a good source for these. I pulled it out and it looks like the one in this picture. It's labled "OSRAM 6V 0.6W". I've found similar ones on JMPBPARTS.com, but they have a higher wattage (3 watts). Would they still work?
"Tube Lamp" for CEV (Vespa) Speedometers
Re: "Tube Lamp" for CEV (Vespa) Speedometers
They sell these at auto zone and o reily in 1w led
Re: "Tube Lamp" for CEV (Vespa) Speedometers
Did a quick search and it looks like they call these "dome light bulbs", but as expected I can only find 12V versions.
Got a link to one that would work on a 6v moped? (edited)

Was gonna say, this is actually a festoon base. Very common in auto parts stores, even in 6v

Awesome. Thanks guys for the help. I do a lot of night riding and although I don't care how fast I'm going I use the odometer to gauge how much gas I've used.

6v VW dome light is what you need. try a 1964 or so
