QT50 Water in crank case

any recommendations? I just learned that my engines had some water in it, like today? flush it with oil? Gas? Mixed gas? What should I do? We are not talking a lot of water, like 2oz maybe tops, more like a shot glass (edited)

Re: QT50 Water in crank case

Here's what I would do. I would pour maybe 1 pint of denatured alcohol in the case. The alcohol will absorb the water. Then remove the exhaust pipe and the spark plug. Then kick it over until you think that everything has been pumped out.

Just an oz or two? How long has it been in there? If it were mine unless its been sitting id spin the engine with no plug to keep it dry put the plug in and start it and get it good and warm. Wont hurt anything as long as it hasn't been sitting

I forgot to mention that after kicking it over to pump out all of the alcohol let it sit for a couple of hours. This will give the remaining alcohol time to evaporate taking the absorbed water with it.
