I finally got the end cap off the starter motor however in the process I mangled the large harness with the 4 “0” shaped pieces that go around the armature and held on by 4 Phillips head screws on the outside of the case . The armature tested perfect but that part I screwed up is probably impossible to find or repair. Thanks (edited)
