Anyone have any tips/templates on how to trim reproduction 1 speed side panel covers to fit ZA50?
Need to make cuts around ZA50 transmission on right side, and cutout an opening for coil on left side.

Heat backside with a heat gun or use a torch if you’re careful,
Using where the cover bolts and screw holes are for alignment you can get an idea of where to start the cut and just keep making it bigger and bigger checking it often for fit
Ok, thanks. So I'm assuming this pertains more to the left side than the right?
The idea is to soften the plastic enough such that the coil actually makes an impression in the plastic to give you a startpoint as to where to start cutting?

No not really just to give your eyeball a starting point not a impression, if you could get a few long screws you could hold it up away
