Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

yup

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

this is not new.

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

That one doesn't look so much like the "Green Tree" crank- so yeah, it may be kind of new...

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

Dan Webber Kastner /

Here it is for sale. There are a few available right now, with the rest still in shipment. They are a totally new crank. Let us know what you think about them.

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

The design is like the pa50III version. I+II=III ;)

Reason I say this is ..

The crank is built thick on the vario side.

You will need a special seal 17x25.4x7, yes honda makes this seal from the factory.

The crank is super strong for you racers.

Amazing quality!

grats, dan.

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

i couldnt break my green crank, after breaking 2 stockers within 200 miles i bought a green crank and put around 1000 miles on it max RPM rips and it didnt phase it.

did you have these balanced after they were stuffed?

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

Peter,

I have been running the prototype for 1200 miles. Super balanced.

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

Bobby Dopefiend /

do you guys know if a camino crank will bolt onto and NC50?

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

those look just like the camino DMP race crank, which are long out of production...i had been trying to track one down for a while on the dutch tuning sites with no luck, so i'm super excited to get one for my build..

who makes these?

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

What is this "green crank" people keep talking about? Don't jerk me around now

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

Dan Webber Kastner /

The cranks are custom made for us.

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

oh sweet! maybe i'll this rout over derbi crank!

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

so will they be in production for a while? i'll def. buy one in about a month.... the only thing you need to change is the seal then? will standard hobbit size bearing fit on this?

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

will 77 address this seal issue on its website listing?

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

sure thing pal

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

Sorry, I hit the wrong number even tho 25.4 is a real oil seal size.

There is NOT seal issue.

Any honda dealer will order the seals for you until 77 gets them instock.

The vario side seal is a standard honda made seal for/from honda mopeds.

hobbit, pa50I/II, nc, nx50m, 15x25.5x7 - 91201-147-003

Team 77, camino NT 17x25.5x7 - 91201-GB7-631 (Double Lip)

You need one of each size for your crank upgrade.

Some of you may have had this happen to you. The vario seal popping out. Make sure you have the seal free of oil on the outside of the new seal and case and use some thread retainer (green stuff). Use a q-tip to apply a small amount of oil to the inside of the seal this will kept the seal from burning up or smearing maybe even tear the sealing lips.

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

so is the vario side lip is seal lip is slightly larger? That could be advantage itself even if it's not a the stanrdard seal size. More diameter = more strength.

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

Polini cup season will be fun to watch I bet with all the krazy fast hobbit, pa50ers .... now all them red 20mph pa's...

like 2 years ago I seen them everywhere on the forums for sale. Now not one.

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

Charles Cole (OFMC) /

On the way YAY!

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

So...don't mind my ignorance, but will this fit the aforementioned pa50I (you know, the doggish 20mph-er)?

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

why yes it will :)

Fits all the pa50 I and II cases.

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

so i assume the 6004 C3 bearings are good

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

Of course, its a copy of the pa50II just has a thicker vario side as freddie said no more broken/snapped cranks. It will be alot harder since these are machined and not casted from what I can tell.

Re: Camino Race cranks anyone??

ed i called honda here in louisville and they said that the 17
