just picked this up.

safe to use my old bearings or is better to replace everything: seals, bearings..

i know i will have to replace at least the variator side seal.

you can just as easily damage the old bearings when switching out the crank also, just gotta be careful either way

Just replace it! Bearings and seals are universal and readily available in many cases. Cheetah recommended 'American made bearings' and Graham Motzing recommends calling http://www.alliedbearingcorp.com/ to order 'american made bearings'

Yeah and the sizes are different anyway, so might as well!
