With a puch and any reed type kit (polini, Gila, Athena, treats reed ect.) and a good carb and pipe it’s not hard at all (but can be expensive) to go 60 mph.
Those reed kit setups can go low to mid 60s easy with hi rpm/hi rpm pipe but I prefer to detune, run lower rpm/pipe and only go 55-60mph for prolonged engine life,
My 60mph VDO speedos are 1mph+- compared to roadside radar Machines that the police put all over the place so people keep speeds down closer to the posted speed limit (they put cop cars on the side of the road with dummies in them too ha ha) but it don’t really work, people speed right past them!
Ten or more seasons thousands of miles (with correct maintenance intervals) on my 55-60mph Gila and Polini kitted bikes and they still run strong.
I got other bikes that run just as fast and good with Gila and Polini kits too but no old crappy cell phone videos of them
