also reports of destroyed a35 clutches are greatly exaggerated.. the cork goes to shit and they pop out of the groove in the hub, then the pins aren't supported and they break.
if you re-line them with anything but pure garbage cork, make sure your leaking output shaft doesn't puke out all the oil, and don't keep power shifting it after the pads are worn and its dry of oil... they can take a surprising amount of power.
if you build a motor that makes good torque, which is easy with the reed valve, and you leave them shifting at relatively low rpm, they are just fine. and don't put a damn HPI on there since that destroys them double extra fast.
