2011 Tomos Revival - Upgrade options?

Tomas Molinari /

Yo,

Sadly I had a green 2001 Tomos Targa with an Airsal 70cc kit and biturbo exhaust, rebuilt transmission and it was stolen a little over a week ago.

So I just got a 2011 Revival completely stock and unmolested, under 400 miles with the keys and title and everything. $850 for it. It has a bit of a throttle issue but I'm sure it's not a big one. Not sure how long was it since the guy started it last or what, but the only thing missing is the battery.

I plan to keep the bike as stock as possible while also increasing it's performance. I like the look of it so much I don't think I would change it. Any suggestions, recommoendations and/or opinions?

The carb needle has 5 groves which the clip clips into, put it in the middle setting

I would slap a biturbo on there. They're look sorta stock looking and get good gains for the price with proper jetting of course. Maybe I'll get a Revival myself, pretty comfy bikes. (edited)

I Thought the Biturbos were for A3/35s, not A55s. Mine's an A55.

I bought a non running Revival for $150 once.

It had a very weak spark and just wouldn't start . The culprit turned out to be the kill switch . I took it out of the circuit and then it had a bright blue spark and started right up . I replaced the kill switch and sold it.

Is this what you meant by everything you described?

I guess I'm getting these parts then. Thanks y'all.

I dont think that's the filter you need. I think you have a phva carb? so you'll want something that'll clamp onto that.
